Hello, friend. I’m glad you’re here.

A photographer that makes your family feel seen.

Modern day society has tried to convince us to have curated lives. But the reality is that the life you will truly want to remember is happening right now, even in the chaos. You don’t need to wait for the right moment to take family photos; you need a photographer that’s going to honor the beauty of this season in your life. I learned the hard way that without rain, there are no rainbows, either. There is no ‘perfect’ story to remember - just the messy and wonderful ones we’re living now.

You can learn more about my approach as a photographer here.

A woman and two children sitting on a wooden floor, with one child taking a photo with a brightly colored toy camera. The woman is smiling and wearing a headscarf, the younger child is wearing a patterned shirt and leaning in, and the older child is wearing a yellow shirt, holding the toy camera up to take a picture.

About the woman behind the lens

Hi, I’m Elise.

I first picked up my camera to keep me busy during my husband’s long military deployments. Soon, my camera became my anchor. Wading through military life, infertility, trauma, IVF, and now motherhood, my camera has kept me steady. Documenting the beauty in the everyday is my soul’s poetry. Whether it’s the feeling of your child’s hair in your fingers, the soft whisper of hope in morning’s light, or the line of toys snaking down the hall - these stories matter. And I’m here to tell them through photographs you’ll want to look at over and over again.

Visual storyteller for families and mothers in Central Oregon.

Choosing a photographer is a deeply personal investment for every family. Family portraits are more than just photos - they are a legacy of memories you create for your children. They are the photos you’ll look at when you want to remember how their little bodies fit into your arms, and for the stories your children will tell someday.

I connect with each family prior to the photo session so we don’t feel like strangers when I pull out my camera. With attention to detail, thoughtful guidance for every client, and experience with kids of all ages, I know how to plan a family photo session which helps you be present with your loves and gets to the heart of who you are.

Photos that are candidly you.

A woman holding a baby in her arms while standing on a wooden floor, with a young boy sitting on the floor nearby. The woman is smiling and wearing denim overalls and a cream shirt, and the boy is wearing a yellow shirt and jeans, appearing to be playing or crawling. The scene is bright with natural light.

Reminiscing over “remember when” is a bittersweet reality in parenthood.

Lucky enough to be married to my best friend & mother to two miracle babies, I know the feeling of wanting to cherish it all. Little hands and feet grow, favorite toys change, and one day they are a whole new person. Let me help you bottle up all the goodness that you never want to forget in cherished family photos.
