You should expect to book your session about 3-4 weeks in advance for a family or motherhood session. Newborn photoshoots are best booked in the second trimester to secure time near your baby’s due date.
Life doesn’t stop just because seasons change - so truly, whenever you have a story to tell. Spring has fresh blooms, summer has golden evenings, and fall has stunning colors. But don't discount winter - being in the snow with chunky knits is prettier than you think. And if you want photos at home, the answer is any season.

Edited galleries take about three weeks, because I edit every gallery by hand and choose images for how they feel, not whether everyone’s looking at the camera. I don’t use AI-assisted culling or editing software for any client.
Snow, gale force winds, smoky summers... Central Oregon has a lot of natural glory for us. I don't overload my calendar with sessions, so if we need to reschedule due to extreme weather or move locations, we'll make it work.
